Sushi for lunch. . .
I was in the mood for a little food photography this morning, so I picked up some Sushi for my lunch and photographed it first! The first photo is of Japanese Avocado and Vegetable Rolls, and the second is of Brown Rice and Salmon/Avocado Sushi. (Hint: I didn't actually drink Sake with my lunch, but it looked nice as a still life. . .)

Very professionally done. I can't distinguish between your photos and any number of professional shots I see on the web. It looks like you can do this now without even trying.
How do you decide where to focus when you are doing food photography? I can never decide (not that I do that much of it.
Thanks Nik! I guess I decide on the focal point based on where my eye keeps falling on the composition I've put together--nothing mathematical or anything--just artistic whimsy?
Your food shots make me hungry. Can't wait 'til I see some text with them in a magazine. You know, "Sushi Rocks!" Or "Japan Airlines thinks of your every need." :)b
Bruce, I like the way you THINK! (for the most part anyhow--lol!) Thanks!
