On Saturday night, I spent the night at a camp on Sebago Lake. I was lucky enough to experience clear skies and capture a couple of pictures of the sailboats at rest on the beach under the stars. You can see these and many other Maine landscape images in my
Maine Landscapes Gallery.
Beautiful as always. Interesting that you got the stars without streaks in what must be a long exposure.

Thanks Garth! It was actually only a 30 second exposure, as I photographed it at ISO 1600, f/4 for 30 sec, which is the longest amount of time you can photograph stars without streaking, as you wisely noted. I learned the technique from a photographer friend on flickr, Moe Chen. He's the master of the starry night! :-)
